Well hi there, and welcome to my spring home tour! I've joined up with some very talented ladies who are opening their doors all week long, and inviting you inside their lovely homes to give you a glimpse into their spring decor. If you're joining me from Hello Central Avenue, thank you! Isn't Rebecca's home stunning? I love how light and bright it is. It's the perfect backdrop for adding spring touches.
I'm not usually one to decorate for the seasons, but getting invited to join this tour made me excited to lighten up my decor and get my home ready for warmer weather. I live in Florida where sunshine is plentiful, but this winter felt a tad bit colder than last year. I figured it couldn't hurt to bring in some pretty flowers and blush accents to remind myself that the cold is now behind us.
Since I'm more of a minimalist and don't like clutter I kept my decor simple by placing just a few touches here and there. Hope you enjoy, and thanks so much for stopping by!
I love Geraniums, and these are looking beautiful. That is, when the deer don't sneak over and chew all the buds off!
A sweet gift from one of my neighbors sits by the front door.
I also find that switching out my cinnamon scented candles for a lighter fragrance helps get me in the springtime mood.
Nothing really changed here, just plants and lots of sunshine streaming in.
While on the way home from vacation last week we stopped for lunch, and to let our 8 month old out of his car seat for a little while. (I've learned there's no getting anywhere fast when you have a baby.) After we ate we cruised through the Dollar Tree next door, and I found this bowl, succulents, and pebbles, all for a buck a piece!
Just give me all the plants please! The absolute best way to bring spring into your home.
Lavender in the kitchen is one of my favorite touches.
So are these delicate little branches from Target.
It's finally time to switch out the heavier throws for light weight ones!
